Had a great night out, ended up here at the end of night for food. Whilst my friends and i were waiting for our food we spoke to staff who were really friendly and funny. The food came which was fresh and warm and tasted great.
I would definitely recommend this place to people, customer for life. -

Hot Stuff is a bit of a mixed bag, and in my opinion, a bit of a pot luck kind of takeaway place. The pot luck element is of course with regard to their kebabs and other such items, I mean, if all you want is a portion of chips I really doubt you'll get a bad batch.
As with many people, I'm sure, my sole usage of this establishment has been post-Cockpit. In this way it's always been a bit of a "I'm drunk and therefore want evil food" kind of relationship between Hot Stuff and I, and in that at least, I can say that they have been faithful, cheery and dutiful. I certainly couldn't advise eating there sober - but then I can't think of a kebab shop anywhere that I would choose to dine from, for say my working lunch.
Sometimes the kebab has been magic, sometimes the kebab has been the opposite. This variable could of course be down to my alcohol consumption, I might add. Whilst it's not the nicest place to be after 2am, given all the drunken bloke-ness around here, the staff have always been pretty friendly. I don't know if I could be, working here and serving quite so many intoxicated muttonheads - so props to them! All in all, Hot Stuff serve a range of much demanded take away foods for the masses - most especially after a big night out on the town. -

Pretty ropey kebab shop underneath the railway arches just by Leeds central station. However, the town centre round there is curiously devoid of kebab shops, so, you've probably been here.

Hot Stuff is in the perfect location to tempt staggering post booze-up folk about town of an evening...or more likely stupid o'clock (it always seems to be open) I have experienced the temptation to attempt to somehow 'soak up' the night's booze with a large helping of cheesy chips many a time. Sometimes I manage to resist (simply not having two pennies to rub together is a good tactic) and all too often I don't. And to be honest you'd have to be a hardcore foodie to turn down any take away at 2am. Standards tend to erm, slip somewhat. As I'm veggie I haven't tried the kebabs, but the chips are good enough to perk up a hungry drunk, though I don't imagine they'd win any awards.

I agree with Phil's rating and reasoning on three stars. I have been here a few times (mostly after club nights at the Cockpit 30 secs walk away) and mostly remember a blur or a air of fight about to kick off. Not the tastiest of kebab if I remember but if your here you hungry and probably wasted so (like Phil) extra star for the fact you get fed at all.
